Differences between acrylic ink and acrylic pigment
1. Composition;
1) Ink: It consists of binder (resin), pigment, filler, auxiliary agent and solvent.
2) Acrylic pigment: Dispersive pigment made of polymethyl methacrylate dissolved in mineral oil essence, sometimes called pure acrylic pigment or plastic pigment, to distinguish it from polymeric pigment made of propylene and other water-soluble resins.
2. In terms of efficacy;
1) Ink: It has corresponding resistance to water, acid, alkali, light, abrasion, etc.
2) Acrylic pigment: It has the characteristics that the acrylic pigment is easily soluble and cannot be painted repeatedly.
3. Characteristic;
1) Ink: can be diluted with water, which is not conducive to cleaning;
2) Propylene pigment: it can be diluted with water, which is more convenient for cleaning;
4. In terms of use;
1) Ink: used for books and periodicals, packaging and decoration, building decoration, electronic circuit board and other printing. With the increase of social demand, the variety and output of printing ink also expand and grow accordingly.
2) Acrylic paint: It can be used for painting hand-painted wall paintings and other decorative paintings.
